Smiley Sunflower is a lighthearted, whimsical piece, originally made with watercolor and pastels. The background is decorated with a playfully written nursery rhyme, 'Jesus Loves Me,' calling viewers to have a positive, childlike faith.
Handiworks by Maddie prints are handcrafted by Maddie Miller, painted and drawn in a variety of mediums ranging from acrylics, oils, pastels, and watercolors. Maddie enjoys incorporating natural elements—like dried flowers and leaves—into her pieces and strives to capture the beauty and awe of nature.
This shop celebrates the humanity of creating. Whether painted on a canvas or drawn digitally, our products emphasize the imperfect perfection of handcrafted work--no premade fonts, perfect angles, or flashy graphics in sight. Each piece is carefully designed and honors the classic way of artmaking, prioritizing a handmade, wholesome esthetic.
